The E30 adventure begins!

So here it is, just purchased a 1987 BMW E30 325e. It was one of those unexpected purchases where the car found me rather than the usual method of me looking for the car... A friend showed me the ad, low miles, garage kept, I saw the car, and made the purchase. It really did look good. No sign of rust whatsoever, everything works with the exception of the a/c, interior was in good shape, in fact on the surface everything looked great. As expected things did eventually come up, but more on this later.
So was it all too good to be true? Well not really... Yes the car was indeed in good shape with less than 90k miles, BUT it was an '87 325e... wrong engine, wrong bumpers, oh and did I mention that it was an automatic?? Nevertheless, the car's excellent condition compelled me to make the purchase, knowing that down the road the car would need work to fix these issues.

So here it is after a wash and some leather conditioning with some Zymol leather cream
